Yes, it is legitimate. The doll I bought was perfect. She is very realistic and lifelike with no flaws, a true work of art. The skin is soft to the touch. She can pose like any real woman can pose (some can’t :-). After unpacking the doll, I cleaned the doll with warm water and light soap (very important). After drying with a towel, we used baby talcum powder to make the skin extra smooth. When we first unpacked the dolls, there was a faint smell, but after we cleaned them for the first time, the smell disappeared.
